Jewel Street

In today's post the main item I wanted to present is a ring from Jewel Street, which is my favourite accessory at the moment. It's extravagant, with strong lines and design, this one of kind, handmade ring in a special way highlights my  uniqueness. Made of lightly oxidized silver, which is emphasized by 14kt yellow gold detail, this wearable sculpture is more than plain ornament and decoration. It was designed by Katrina Cudic who  grew up watching her father making jewellery in his workshop, adopting the process as a natural form of artistic expression. Katarina relishes living in a time when boundaries and limitations are challenged, and she channels this love of new experiences into every piece. By combining ancient techniques and processes with conceptual thinking, she creates stunning necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings that play with simple forms and their relation to the human body. From thick cuffs set with ethereal Serbian opals to filigree ornaments and beads inspired by Byzantium heritage, Katarina’s work is wearable art that’s guaranteed to make a statement. I hope you all see all the hard work and passion of Katarina's in this amazing ring. I know I'll be wearing it often than any other jewelry and it's not the last time you saw it. Visit Jewel Street and discover other degins by Katerina.
